Living on Tellico Lake
Legacy Shores sits along the shores of Tellico Lake Tennessee, located 30 miles southwest of Knoxville. The pristine Tellico Lake is located on the Little Tennessee River and has over 15,000 acres of water surface, 373 miles of shoreline and a 2627 square mile watershed.
Located minutes from Knoxville, Maryville, Lenoir City, and the Great Smoky Mountains, the lake features breathtaking views and a vast assortment of wildlife. Brown and rainbow trout and bass are common throughout the lake. In addition, there are largemouth, smallmouth, crappie, and bluegill. Impounded in 1979, Tellico Lake offers excellent opportunities for water recreation, such as sailing, swimming, jet skiing and water skiing.
